the bearable burden of being

The Bearable Burden of Being is an experimental performance piece about mental illness which explores the relationship that we have with our bodies, in particular, the experience of psychomotor retardation. The piece was first developed and performed in the Fibres Department at Concordia University, and then later performed as part of an exhibition at the VAV gallery in January 2020.
